Inspired

While I was out, I’ve had visitors. And what a welcome surprise to find this from “Inspired Me”,  Rebecca’s Mindful Eating Plan. Rebecca writes,

I haven’t changed what I eat or how much even. I just changed the way I eat and cook the food by being more conscience, mindful and happy. And the good news is… my body is definitely trimming down. I now fit into my pre-pregnancy pants that I haven’t fit in in over a year.

Pretty cool, don’t you think?

What have I been doing, you ask?

I bought a new house, rented out another, been in physiotherapy for a few months, am working on starting my EFT practice shortly, applied for a part-time teaching position and am now packing and getting ready to move. 🙂

For a few years, things seemed uncertain, and a sense of stifled stillness seemed to settle around me. Holding onto a dozen meaningful prayers and a pinch of mindfulness, I am ready to move out of my comfort zone and set sail a thousand ships, seeking adventures, hoping to come home with stories to tell.

I leave you with my “premium morning power drink”:

1)1 serving of plain/flavored whole whey protein*

2)1 cup of coconut water OR Almond milk OR Regular Milk

3)Half a cup of water (skip this if you want a thicker drink)

3)half of a small banana or a handful pitted cherries or even better, a few slices of mango

4)a tablespoon chia or flax seeds (optional)

*If you do not have access to whey protein, try any other protein source such as yogurt or milk and skip ingredient #2

Blend well and drink to your health. Cheers!
